1. Privacy Policy
Viya Members privacy is important to WH, DG and all other Group entities. This statement discloses the information practices for Viya, including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.
2. Personal information
Members may choose to give WH, DG and all other Group entities personal information, such as their name and address or e-mail address that may be needed, for example, to correspond with Members, to process an order or to provide Members with a subscription. It is our intent to let Members know how WH, DG and all other Group entities will use such information before WH, DG and all other Group entities collect it from Members on the Internet. WH, DG and all other Group entities provide this information through the “YOUR PRIVACY” link, which is presented wherever personal information is collected. If Members tell WH, DG and all other Group entities that Members do not want WH, DG and all other Group entities to use this information as a basis for further contact with Members, WH, DG and all other Group entities will respect their wishes.
3. Information security and quality
a) WH intends to protect the quality and integrity of Members’ personally identifiable information. WH have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as using encryption for transmission of credit card numbers, to help WH keep Members’ information secure, accurate, current, and complete.
b) WH will make a sincere effort to respond in a timely manner to their requests to correct inaccuracies in their personal information. To correct inaccuracies in their personal information please return the message containing the inaccuracies to the sender with details of the correction requested.
c) When WH collect personal data from Members in connection with a transaction WH may extract some information about that transaction in an anonymous format. This anonymous information is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level to help WH, DG and all other Group entities understand trends and patterns. None of this information is reviewed at an individual level. If Members do not want their transaction details used in this manner, Members can opt-out at the order or request page.
d) WH collect the anonymous information WH mentioned in the previous paragraphs through the use of various technologies, including one called “cookies”. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to Members’ browser, which may then be stored on Members’ system. Some WH and DG pages use cookies, sent by WH and DG or its third party vendors, or other technologies to better serve Members when Members return to the site. Members can set Members’ browser to notify Members before Members receive a cookie, giving Members the chance to decide whether to accept it. Members can also set their browser to turn off cookies. If Members do so, however, some areas of some sites may not function properly.
4. STAYING IN TOUCH
Viya may from time to time, use your details to send you further information regarding partners’ branded products and services that we think you may be interested in, or for research purposes.
